This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i) Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent No. 2 (Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hata, District Kushinagar) to ensure compliance with the order dated 21.02.2024 and take all necessary steps to enforce Patharbandi (demarcation of land boundaries) of the Petitioner's lands bearing Gata No. 66 measuring area 0.578 hectare, situated in Village Mangalpur, Tappa Dedupar, Paragana Haveli, Tehsil-Hata, District Kushinagar, and to carry out the process of Patharbandi (land boundary demarcation) forthwith, in accordance with law, within stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ii) Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the Respondent No. 2 (Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Hata, District Kushinagar) to consider and decide the Petitioner's application dated 07.04.2025 for execution of Patharbandi and Medbandi expeditiously, within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that already an order under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 has been passed on 21.02.2024 but the said order has not been complied till date. The petitioner has moved an application on 07.04.2025, which is pending consideration before respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to decide the application of petitioner dated 07.04.2025, strictly in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
