It is the contention of the petitioner that he was granted 3 Acres and 7 Guntas of land in Sy.No.1/1, situated at the Basavanahalli Village, Kasaba Hobli, Sakaleshpura Taluk, Hassan District, in terms of the order passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Hemavathi Reservoir Project, Hassan, at Annexure-H dated - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37537 WP No. 27207 of 2025 24.05.2018. However, Saguvali Chit has not issued to the petitioner and revenue entries are not made in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the prayer in the petition is to direct the respondents to consider the representation and till consideration, direct the respondents not to dispossess the petitioner from the property in question. 3. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submissions of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent- authorities were duty bound to consider the representation and pass necessary orders. However, that exercise not has been taken by the respondent-authorities till date. 4. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4–Tahsildar, Sakaleshpura Taluk, Hassan District to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-J dated 06.11.2023, verify the records and find out whether the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37537 WP No. 27207 of 2025 petitioner was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the land was granted in favour of the petitioner, then the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders for issuance of Saguvali Chit and to enter his name in the land revenue records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali Chit. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
