Ambedkar, Bihar University, Muzaffarpur (for brevity, ‘the University’). 2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):
“for initiation of contempt proceeding against the contemnors/opposite parties for their willful disobedience of the order dated 02.07.2024 passed in CWJC No. 3270 of 2016.”
3. Learned counsel for ‘the University’ has taken this Court to the show cause/notification vide memo no. B/811 dated
Patna High Court MJC No.606 of 2025(10) dt.21-08-2026 2/2 10.03.2026 by which the Registrar of ‘the University’ took a decision and the date has been shifted to 06.03.1980 as per the Writ Court’s order. 4. The second paragraph records that the consequential financial benefits shall be extended once it is approved by the Pay Verification Cell, Patna. 5. As is the habit of the State Government, no further development is on record. 6. This Court directs the petitioner to file a one page petition for clearing the payment pursuant to the memo no. B/811 dated 10.03.2026 before the Registrar of ‘the University’ who shall be taking steps/shall ensure that payment is made to the petitioner latest by 30th of September, 2026. It will be his/her duty to get either the documents verified and make payment and realize the same from the State Government at the later stage. 7.
The present contempt petition stands disposed of with aforesaid observation and granting liberty to the petitioner to file fresh contempt petition if the payment is not made by 30th September, 2026. Adnan/- (Rajiv Roy, J) U
