This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has sought for the following relief: "i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 to decide the case No.476 of 2025, Computerized case No. D202502030000476 (Central Bank of India Main Branch Prayagraj Vs. Smt. Rajwanti and others) pending before respondent no.3 under section 14 of SARFAESI Act 2002. ii) Issue a writ order or nature of direction in the mandamus directing the respondent no.4 to hand over the physical possession of the house to the petitioner purchased by him in an auction sale held by respondent bank under the provisions of SARFAESI Act 2002." 3. After hearing counsel appearing on behalf of the parties, we are of the view that the respondent No.3/Additional District Magistrate, Finance and Revenue, Prayagraj should decide the application filed by the respondent Bank under Section 14 of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Securities Interest Act, 2002 in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from date 4.
