Careful perusal of reply filed by the respondent- contemnor reveals that respondent has acquired the house of the petitioner, which was allegedly damaged on account of construction of National Highway and compensation assessed by competent authority vide award No.2 of 2025 has been deposited /paid to the petitioner.

Mr. T.S.Chauhan, learned Senior counsel representing the petitioner though admitted factum with regard to receipt of half of the amount, but he states that half of the awarded amount is yet to be paid.

Mr. B.C.Verma, learned Additional Advocate General, while referring to reply filed by the respondent, reiterated that entire

amount stands paid/deposited, but if the same has not been paid/deposited, same shall be deposited expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks.

Consequently, in view of aforesaid compliance, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant proceedings and accordingly same are closed. Notice issued to the respondent is hereby discharge. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner to get the present revived in case balance amount agreed to be paid is not paid within stipulated time.
