This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the direction contained in the Order dated 16.05.2016 passed in WP(C)/6153/2013. It is submitted that a writ appeal which was filed against the Judgment of the learned Single Judge and which came to be dismissed and an SLP was filed by the Union of India before the Apex Court, which came to be allowed by the Judgment and Order dated 17.02.2022 passed in a bunch of appeals where the leading case is Civil Appeal No 4585/2018 (Union of India and Ors Vs. Prabir Ghosh and Ors). Since the SLP has been allowed and the Judgment of the learned Single Judge has been set aside including that of this Court, there is no ground to Page No.# 3/3 proceed for issuance for contempt notice in the present proceeding against the Judgment and Order dated 16.05.2016 passed in WP(C)/6153/2013.
