The instant appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 20.3.2002 passed by the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Court No. 8, Hamirpur, in Sessions Trial No. M-8 of 1996, State Vs. Halkey Bhai @ Chandra Bhan, under Section 302/34 IPC, police station Kotwali, district Mahoba. 3. Perused the office report dated 17.8.2024 based on the report dated 9.8.2024 submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mahoba. According to which, sole appellant-Halkey Bhai @ Chandra Bhan S/o Sumera Lodhi has died on 5.2.2022. 4. We have also perused the report dated 9.8.2024 submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mahoba and the documents annexed therewith. According to which, statements of Akhilesh, son of the deceased and Gram Pradhan have also been recorded apart from the statement of Sub-Inspector concerned. 5. Accordingly, the appeal stands abated. 6. However, it is provided that the record of the present appeal shall remain connected with the connected Criminal Appeal No. 1163 of 2002. 7.
