This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i- Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature mandamus commanding Respondent No.2 to decide the declaratory Suit No. 558/2022 its computerize No.T202202030500558 (Sipahilal vs. Gulab and others) filed by petitioner under section 144 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006 on 24-1-2022 within a stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." It is contended that the proceedings under Section 144 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 are pending consideration, which are registered as Case No.558 of 2022 (Computerize No.T202202030500558). The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said case. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Up Zila Adhikari, Tehsil Karchhana District Prayagraj to decide the Case No.558 of 2022 (Computerize No.T202202030500558) filed under Section 144 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
