The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the following prayer :- "(I) Issue, a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent authorities to direct the respondent no. 3, 6 and 7 to hold the meeting of selection of Fair Price Shop Dealer forthwith within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and to complete the process of election of fair price shop and to allot the dealership of fair price shop to the Petitioner." 2. Today when the matter is taken up, Sri B. K. Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent-Gram Sabha placed before this Court a decision taken by the Committee dated 25/26.05.2025 and pursuant to the aforesaid fresh resolution has already been passed by the Gram Sabha on 05.06.2025. 3. In this view of the matter, it is argued by counsel for the petitioner that the relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition could not be granted. 4. After going through the aforesaid documents, a prayer has been made by counsel for the petitioner to dismiss present writ petition with liberty to challenge the aforesaid order/proceedings before the appropriate forum. 5. In this view of the same, present writ petition is dismissed with liberty as prayed.
