The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the order dated 29.12.2014 passed by the second respondent in No.KN/MN/20534/ENF- II/Damages/1329/2014-15 vide Annexure-A. 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. The order passed under Section 14B of the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 is called into question in this Writ Petition on several - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:40095 WP No. 7455 of 2015 grounds as set-out in the Memorandum of Writ Petition. Suffice it to note that there is an alternate statutory remedy of filing an appeal against the 14B order. Hence, I decline to exercise power under writ jurisdiction. 5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Because of dismissal of the Writ Petition, pending interlocutory applications if any are disposed of and interim direction if any stands discharged.
