ORDER:
1. The mediation report alongwith the original consent terms signed by the parties, is placed on record. The consent terms are signed by the parties in the presence of the mediator. The mediator has also endorsed the consent terms. The consent terms alongwith the mediation report dated 16th October 2025, are taken on record and marked ‘X’ with today’s date for identification. Both the parties are present in the court. They are identified by their respective advocates. The parties confirmed the terms recorded in the consent terms to be true and correct. 94-wp-1529 -2023.doc of the consent terms in paragraph no. 3.2, the amount towards traveling expense is inadvertently mentioned as Rs. 500/- instead of Rs. 800/-. The petitioner who is present in the court, confirms that the amount payable for traveling expenses during the visitation for meeting the daughters would be Rs. 800/-.
2. I have perused the terms of the consent terms . The terms are legal and valid. The assurance and undertakings in the consent terms are accepted as undertakings to this court.
3. Both the parties assured that they will abide by the consent terms and take further steps in pursuance to the agreement between the parties.
4. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of consent terms.
5. I find it necessary to place on record my appreciation towards the efforts made by the learned mediator and the respective advocates and the reasonable approach shown by both parties to arrive at an amicable settlement.
