110 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH **** CWP-3853-2025 (O&M) Date of Decision:09.07.2026 RAJNEESH BANSAL AND OTHERS ....PETITIONER(S) VERSUS UNION OF INDIA AND OTHERS ….RESPONDENT(S) CORAM:- HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ROHIT KAPOOR Present: None for the petitioners. ***** ASHWANI KUMAR MISHRA, A.C.J. (Oral) 1. This matter has been adjourned repeatedly at the request of the petitioners. The order sheet is replete with such orders. On the last occasion, it was made clear that no further adjournment shall be granted on the next date of hearing. Despite the said order, learned counsel has submitted an application seeking adjournment on the ground that he is out of station. 2. We do not appreciate such a request when the previous order had made it explicit that no further adjournment shall be granted in the matter. 3. In that view of the matter, we reject the application for adjournment, and the petition is consequently dismissed for non- prosecution. 4. All pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of. [ASHWANI KUMAR MISHRA] ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE [ROHIT KAPOOR] JUDGE JULY 09, 2026 Rahul Joshi 1.
