The Petition has been filed under Section 10 of the Administrators-General Act, 1963 in respect of estate of Shri Mohanlal Ranjhomal Otwani and Ms. Shanta Kaur Ranjhomal Otwani, who were siblings and found dead in their residential accommodation, which is evidenced from the Police Report which is annexed at Exhibit-B of the Petition. The present Petition is filed by the Administrator General of Maharashtra State seeking permission to collect and take possession of the entire estate of deceased Mohanlal Ranjhomal Otwani and Ms. Shanta Kaur Ranjhomal Otwani and to hold and administer the same in accordance with the provisions of the Administrators General Act, Sairaj 1 of 3 2025:BHC-OS:20539 75 MPT-195-2019.doc 1963. 2. By order of 10th January, 2020, this Court granted ad-interim relief in terms of prayer clause (a) permitting the Petitioner to collect and take possession of the entire estate of the deceased and directed an Additional Report to be filed. Pursuant thereto, a site visit report has been filed by Administrator General dated 26th February, 2020. The site visit report gives an inventory of the immovable property of the deceased, the bank accounts, the investments of deceased as well as the documents found at the time of site visit. Along with the report dated 8th February, 2020, is also annexed the Valuation Report of the gold and silver jewellery. 3. Learned AGP submits that insofar as clause (iv) of Paragraph No. 6 of order dated 10th January, 2020 is concerned, the Administrator General has not received any information from the Banks as regards the lockers of deceased. 4. The copy of the Site Visit Report by Administrator General is taken on record. 5. Learned AGP undertakes that within period of one week from today, the original site visit report will be deposited with the office of Prothonotary and Senior Master who shall preserve the same in the safe custody. 6. In view of the above, ad-interim relief which is granted in terms Sairaj 2 of 3 75 MPT-195-2019.doc of prayer clause (a) is made absolute. 7. Petition is allowed in the terms of prayer clause (a), which reads as under: “a) The Petitioner be empowered to forthwith collect and take possession of the entire estate of the Deceased Shri Mohanlal Ranjhomal Otwani and Miss Shanta Kaur Ranjhomal Otwani as reflected in the Schedule of property and credits Exhibit "D' hereto and/or that may be found hereinafter and to hold and administer the same in accordance with the provisions of The Administrators- General Act, 1963 as amended by the (Maharashtra) Act No. 12 of 2002.” [Sharmila U.
