The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 191 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 319, 318, 338, 336, 340, 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections 47(a), 58 of the Excise Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. The petitioners are the driver and cleaner of the truck bearing registration No.RJ11GB-1437, which was seized by Chandwa police on 05.12.2024 and on search, huge quantity of liquor was recovered from the said truck. It was further submitted that petitioners are in custody for about four months. It was further submitted that petitioners have got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S.
