This is an application for condonation of delay in filing statutory appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act. 3. Learned Advocate for the applicant submits that the applicant/appellant has filed an appeal, seeking enhancement of compensation. It is submitted that the appeal was filed during the period of Covid lock down and therefore, the delay of 573 days occurred in filing the appeal. 4. Having regard to the contents of the application and submissions advanced, the delay of 573 days does not appear to be intentional and therefore, the delay needs to be condoned in the interest of justice. Hence, the application is allowed and the delay of 573 days in filing first appeal is condoned, however, subject to costs of 2025:BHC-NAG:13181 2 44. CAF 2446 of 2021.odt Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only), to be paid by the applicant to the High Court Bar Association Library, Nagpur, within a period of two weeks from today. 5.
