This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent no. 3, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil-Padrauna, District- Kushinagar to decide the Representation [Public Hearing and Tehsil day Format (Revenue Department)) No. 40018924012427 dated 02.07.2024, submitted by the petitioner, pending before Respondent no.2, as soon as possible within some stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court (Annexure No.1 to this Writ Petition)." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents are laying pipeline through the bhumidhari land of the petitioner without paying any compensation. An application in this regard has been moved on 02.07.2024 before respondent No.3, which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.3 to decide application dated 02.07.2024 being Format (Revenue Department)) No. 40018924012427 in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
