The following prayer has been made in the writ petition: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to decide/consider the representation of the petitioner which are pending before the higher police, and also direct the respondent no. 5 to take action against the respondent nos. 6, 7 and 8." 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the private respondents no. 6, 7, 8 are interfering in the right of the petitioner to hold a weekly fair on his bhumidhari land. 3. In our considered opinion, for said purpose writ petition would not be maintainable. It shall be open to the petitioner to avail the remedies provided under the common law. 4.
