The present application has been filed by the Applicant seeking condonation of delay of 12 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the impugned order dated 19.10.2022 passed in Criminal Case No. OA/205/NIA/2016/D by the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Mapusa, whereby the Respondent was acquitted. 2. Learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant expired on 27.08.2023 and has placed on record the online death certificate of the Applicant along with one Memo duly signed by the counsel for the applicant stating that on instructions he is placing on record the original online copy of the death certificate issued by 2025:BHC-GOA:2424 CRMA 39 of 2023 28th November, 2025 Registrar of Births and Deaths, Parra- Goa. The same is taken on record and marked as X for identification. 3. In view of the death of the Applicant, the present application for condonation of delay, as well as the accompanying Criminal Appeal, stand abated.
