It is the case of the petitioner that she has been selected in a recruitment process for the appointment to the position of Health Worker Female, but the respondent no.3/The Chief Medical Officer, Uttarkashi, has not offered her appointment on the ground that her fitness certificate records that she is fit “Except Rt Upper limp hand Deformity” and the respondent no.3/The Chief Medical Officer, Uttarkashi, had sought directions in this regard from the respondent no.2/The Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare, but, thereafter, the respondent no.2/The Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare, has not given any directions. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had undergone a recruitment process, and she has been selected for appointment to the position of Health Worker Female, in the State of Uttarakhand. She was to be appointed in District-Uttarkashi, but the respondent no.3/The Chief Medical Officer, Uttarkashi, has not offered her appointment on the ground that her medical fitness records that she is medically fit “Except Rt Upper limp hand Deformity”. He submits that the respondent no.3/The Chief Medical Officer, Uttarkashi, had sought directions from the respondent no.2/The Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare on 06.02.2025 in this regard, which is Annexure No.6 to the writ petition (“the communication”), but till date, the respondent no.2/The Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare, has not issued any directions. Learned State Counsel would submit that the respondent no.2/The Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare, would issue necessary directions on communication dated 06.02.2025 made by the respondent no.3/The Chief Medical Officer, Uttarkashi, within three weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State Counsel. The writ petition is disposed of within the directions to the respondent no.2/The Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare, to issue necessary directions on the communication dated 06.02.2025, of the respondent no.3/The Chief Medical Officer, Uttarkashi, within a period of three weeks from today.
