UNNI KRISHNAN NAIR ORDER Date : 22.01.2025 None appears for the petitioner on call. This Court vide order dated 23.02.2022, had required the petitioner to bring on record the Next of Kin (NoK) certificate of the deceased Ratan Devnath, issued by the competent authority. The same was however not brought on record and accordingly, this Court vide order dated 23.06.2023, had again directed the petitioner to file an additional affidavit to bring on record the Next of Kin (NoK) Certificate of the deceased Ratan Devnath. In view of the above position, the Next of Kin (NoK) certificate not having been brought on record for the last around 3 years and there being no representation on behalf of the petitioner, it is apparent that the petitioner is not desirous to continue with the present proceedings. In view of the above position, the writ petition stands dismissed for non- prosecution. Mr. G. Hazarika, learned Counsel for the respondent No. 1, Mr. D. Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel, Finance Department, for respondent No. 2 and Ms. U. Das, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, appears for the respondents No. 3 and 4.
