Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.123 dated 26.08.2024, registered under Section 108 BNS at Police Station Division No. 1, Police Commissionerate, District Jalandhar (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise deed dated 04.12.2024 (Annexure P- 2). 2. The present compromise quashing petition is pending since 15.02.2025 and the FIR registered under Section 108 BNS is sought to be quashed on the basis of compromise. The Court has serious doubt that such a prayer where the person has already lost his life by committing suicide, if so proved, proceedings can not be quashed on the basis of compromise. 3. From the orders passed on different dates, it also appears that counsel for the petitioners is not interested in addressing the arguments.
