JUSTICE AMBUJ NATH ----- For the Petitioner : Mr. A. K. Chaturvedy, Advocate For the State : Mr. Rakesh Ranjan, A.P.P. --- 02/20.03.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 334 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 21, 22, 27 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, Chatra. On 27.10.2024 at about 3:00 A.M., Chatra Sadar police apprehended the petitioner along with co-accused persons namely Komal Ganjhu and Saurabh Singh from Nawada Baraini Forest. On search, 410 grams of brown sugar were recovered from their joint possession of the accused persons. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that 390 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of Saurabh Singh and 20 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of Komal Ganjhu. From the F.I.R., it appears that petitioner had gone there to purchase brown sugar from the co-accused persons. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
