Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for the following relief: "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to sanction pension of Rs.30,200/- per month as is admissible to the petitioner in accordance with extant Rules and Govt. order 23.08.2017 and commutation of pension on the basis of pension of Rs.30,200/- per month and accordingly payment of arrears of pension alongwith admissible interest." 3. At the time of consideration of this petition, learned counsel for the petitioner has restricted his prayer only to count his services in primary section for pensionable service from 20.01.2004 till the age of his superannuation. 4. As the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the issue was already decided by this Court in the case of Krishna Prasad Yadav and others Vs. State of U.P. and others reported in 2015 (2) All WC 1207. The said judgment was followed by the coordinate Bench of this Court while deciding the Writ-A No.6659 of 2023 Kedar Singh Vs. State of U.P. and 3 others. 5. Considering the submissions and accepting the oral request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner restricting his prayer, the present writ petition is disposed of in the same terms, directing the respondents to release all differential dues to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
