No.26184 of 2025 ORDER By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Writ of Mandamus to direct the Revenue Divisional Officer/ 3rd respondent herein to complete the formal enquiry based on petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2025 and to issue computerized patta in petitioner's name. 3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner purchased the property comprised in R.S.No.48/3 situated at Panagahalli Village, Thalavadi Taluk, Erode District, from one Chiththa Chetty vide sale deed dated 03.12.1992 registered as Document No.751 of 1992 in the office of SRO, Thalavadi. It is stated that patta was changed in petitioner's name in Patta Number 557 and thereafter petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents on 03.04.2025 for issuance of computerised patta in petitioner's name in respect of the subject property, however, the same is stated to be kept pending. It is the limited request of the petitioner to complete the enquiry and pass appropriate orders. 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. No.26184 of 2025 4. At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that pursuant to the above representation, the 1st respondent issued a communication to conduct enquiry and submit a report. Learned Special Government Pleader for respondents would further submit that respondents would consider the representation, conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders after issuing notice and reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2025, conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders after issuing notice and reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy.
