The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue an order/direction or Writ in nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to remove the name of the Petitioner from the rowdy list in interest of justice and equity. b) Grant such other relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the fact and circumstances along with the cost of this proceeding in the ends of justice and equity. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation submitted by the petitioner for deletion of the name of the petitioner from the rowdy sheet maintained by the respondents has not been considered, despite there being no criminal case pending against the petitioner. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50806 WP No. 18379 of 2025 3. If there are no criminal cases pending against the petitioner, the respondent ought to have deleted the name of the petitioner from the rowdy sheet. 4. In that view of the matter, I pass the following: ORDER i) The Writ Petition is allowed. ii) A mandamus is issued directing respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the rowdy list maintained by the respondents if there are no criminal proceedings pending as of the date of such consideration, the order to be passed within 30 days from today.
