Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail in respect of Golagaht PS Case No. 07/2025. 3. Bora Automobile Private Ltd. of Jorhat sells commercial vehicles. The present Page No.# 2/2 petitioner was given the duty to sell commercial vehicles in the district of Golaghat. Therefore, he bought three vehicles from Borah Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., Jorhat and the vehicle was kept parked in the courtyard of Santosh Gogoi. Therefore, the phone number of the present petitioner was found switched off. The executives of Borah Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. saw the vehicles in the courtyard of Santosh Gogoi, but they could not contact the present petitioner. 4. It may be stated that the custody of the three vehicles were also given to Borah Automobiles Pvt Ltd. by the learned Sessions Judge, Golaghat. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that under the given circumstances of the case, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, his bail application is allowed. 7. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Golaghat P.S. Case No. 07/2025, the petitioner Bitu Dusad shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 8. The petitioner shall appear before Investigating Officer within next 10 days from today. 9. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application is disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
