The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the interim order of this Court dated 15.11.2024, the petitioner had deposited a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) to the credit of W.P No.34023 of 2024, in the Registry. The learned counsel further submitted that on 16.04.2025, the said writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Registry for reimbursement/refund of Rs.10,00,000/- which was deposited by him. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the order passed by this Court on 16.04.2025, the petitioner has approached this Court for refund of the amount deposited by him. 3. It is seen that this Court in its order dated 16.04.2025 in W.P No.34023 of 2024, specifically directed the petitioner to approach the Registry for reimbursement of the amount of Rs.10 lakhs deposited by him pending writ petition. In view of the specific directions of this Court, in the order dated 16.04.2025, I find that the petitioner is entitled for reimbursement of the amount. Hence, this Court directs the Registrar, High Court, Madras to return the amount of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakhs only) to the petitioner, which was deposited by him, to the credit of W.P No.34023 of 2024, within a period of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 4/5 WMP No. 29210 of 2025 two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
