Chakraborty, learned Government Advocate, Assam, has appeared on behalf of the respondent no. 6. Mr. R.K. Talukdar, learned Standing Counsel, Office of the AG (A&E), Assam, has appeared on behalf of the respondent no. 2 and Ms. H. Terangpi, learned counsel is present on behalf of the respondent no. 1. The grievance of the petitioner was on account of non-payment of pension. However, when the matter is called up, Mr. Talukdar has produced a copy of the communication dated 04/04/2019, a perusal of which goes to show that the pension and gratuity of the petitioner has been settled long back. In view of the above, by retaining a copy of the communication dated 04/04/2019, this writ petition stands closed. However, if there is any grievance of the petitioner, which is still unredressed in the matter, it would be open for her to approach this Court once again by filing appropriate proceeding.
