The petitioner has challenged a Notice dated 27.05.2025, issued by the respondent no.3/the District Magistrate/ Licensing Authority, Haridwar, by which, while suspending the license for running an Indian Made Foreign Liquor Shop, the petitioner was directed to Show Cause with regard to an ITR for the year 2023-24, submitted by him. As soon as the matter is taken up, learned State Counsel would submit that final order has been passed in the matter on 09.06.2025 by the respondent no.3 and the license of the petitioner has been cancelled with the direction for recovery. Learned State Counsel has tendered for perusal of the Court the instructions that have been received. It is taken on record. In view of what is stated by the learned State Counsel, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition and file appeal before the Appellate Forum. He seeks further direction that the Appellant Forum may be directed to decide the appeal, as expeditiously as possible. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as above. Needless to say, the Appellate Authority shall decide the appeal, as expeditiously as possible.
