AISHWARYA NAGULA, Advocate for the Petitioner and of PUBLIC PROSECUTOR for the Respondent and the Court made the following; I Jrty THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.1667 OF 2025 ORDER:- This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner herein/accused No.1, seeking regular bail, in crime No.8 of 2025 of Madanapalle Rural Police Station, Annamayya District, registered for the OffenCeS Punishable under sections 308(2), 308(3) and 109(1 ) of the BNS. 2. Case of the Prosecution, in brief, iS that, On 10.01.2025 at about o5.30 p.m., the accused Visited the Shop Of the defaCtO complainant on his Honda Activa Motorcycle and demanded Rs.500/_ ttRowdy Maamulu". The defacto complainant expressed that he had no money and asked him to leave the place. The accused abused in filthy language and threatened him to do away with his life, if he fails to give money. When the defacto conplainant expressed the inability to give money, the accused took a knife from his Motorcycle and attempted to hack on his neck with an intention to murder him. At that time, the defacto complainant tried to escape from the hack by putting his left hand, aS a result he sustained bleeding cut injury from left .\ 2 f/ thumb up to wrist portion and made cries. on hearing cries, the neighbors and the passers rushed there and rescued him. The accused escaped from the spot. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. On perusal of the material on record goes to showthat a quarrel ensued between the petitioner and the defacto complainant on the ground that the defacto complainant has borrowed an amount of Rs.20,000/-from the petitioner. Despite the fact that, the petitioner made several demands for repayment of the amount, but the defacto complainant has not Paid the Said amount. In connection with that, on the date of the incident, the petI-tiOner iS alleged to have attacked the defacto complainant. The petitioner herein was arrested on 12.01.2025 and since then he has been in judicial custody. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that investigatI'On in the Present Crime iS completed and the charge sheet is also filed. 5. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein on the +I following conditions. i) The petitioner herein shall be released on bail on his executing personal bond for Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) wl'th two suretl'5s of the ll'ke sum each to the satI'SfaCtI'On of the learned Judicial Magistrate of Fl'rst class, Madanapal'e. iI-) The petI'tI'Oner sha" co-operate wl-th the trial of the case. 6.
