The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.2 to issue character certificate to petitioner within a stipulated time period. The application stated to have been submitted on 4th June, 2025 is for the purpose that the petitioner is required to submit the character certificate before the concerned authority viz. the U.P. State Road Transport Corporation where the petitioner has been offered appointment on compassionate grounds. Counsel for the State respondents submits that the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of character certificate would be dealt with. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to pass appropriate order on the application of the petitioner submitted for issuance of character certificate within a period of three weeks from the date of submission of a certified copy of this order.
