Present petition has been filed seeking direction to official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, which is under threat at the hands of private respondent No.4, who is illegally harassing the petitioners by lodging multiple false complaints and FIRs in various districts of Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, due to which, the police is repeatedly summoning the petitioners to different police stations. Further prayer has been made to direct the official respondents not to harass the petitioners and to serve 15 days prior notice to the petitioners under Section 35(3 to 6) read with Section 179 of BNSS, so that the petitioners can avail appropriate remedy before the Competent Court of law. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is a civil dispute between the petitioners and respondent No.4. He submits that respondent No.4 filed a complaint under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., however, the same was dismissed. He submits that they have to travel all the way from U.P. He submits that for the redressal of their grievances, petitioners have filed a representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, PBI/Homicide, Forensics, Amritsar Rural, Punjab, but the same has not been taken into consideration till date. He has further submitted that petitioners would be satisfied if representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) is decided in a time bound manner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. J.S. Arora, D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. 5. After hearing counsel for the parties, respondent No.3- Deputy Superintendent of Police, PBI/Homicide, Forensics, Amritsar Rural, Punjab is directed to decide the representation dated 23.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) filed by the petitioners expeditiously preferably within one month from today, in accordance with law. 6. In view of the above, present petition is disposed of.
