It is the contention of the petitioners is that late Sri. Chikkanna @ Chikkaiah was granted 1 acre 15 guntas of land in Sy.No.46 of Muthasagara Village, Kudur Hobli, Magadi Taluk, Ramangara Distict, in the year 1991-92. It is contended that the surveyor prepared a sketch and thereafter, the grantees were called upon to pay the kimmath and late Sri.Chikkanna paid the kimmath also. However, his name was not entered in the revenue records and saguvali chit was also not issued to late Sri.Chikkanna. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 – Tahasildar, Magadi Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner No.2 at Annexure-G dated 10.01.2024, verify from the records and find out whether late Sri.Chikkanna @ Chikkaiah was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri.Chikkanna, the Tahasildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing Saguvali chit and enter - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34817 WP No. 25352 of 2025 name in the land records pursuant to the issuance of the Saguvali chit. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
