It is the case of the petitioner that on the basis of certain objections raised by the Petroleum Dealers Association, the District Collector has directed to keep in abeyance the NOC to the Petroleum Outlet of the petitioner. However, it is contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said decision is beyond the jurisdiction of the District Collector as held by the Apex Court in Ext.P5 judgment. 3. This issue has already been considered by this Court in various writ petitions earlier. An interim order has been granted in this case as well, whereby the operation of Ext.P8 stand stayed. Moreover, connected writ petitions have been closed in the light of the interim order dated 05.02.2014 in WP(C) Nos.31019 of 2013 and connected cases. 4. In the light of the interim order and the discussions made in that cases, already this Court has disposed of the 2025:KER:26018 3 WP(C) No.747 of 2014 connected writ petition i.e., WP(C) No.632 of 2014, as early as on 05.08.2014. 5. In the light of the said judgment and the order as aforementioned, this writ petition is also liable to be disposed of by quashing Ext.P8. Accordingly Ext.P8 is quashed and the interim order dated 08.1.2014 is made absolute.
