Award dated 28.03.2025 was passed by the Presiding Officer under payment of wages Act, 1936 in Case PWA No. 326 of 2023 (Ahmad Ali and 11 others Vs. M/s Ajnara Home Project and others) in favour of the petitioner, when the same was not complied with a direction was given by the Presiding Officer to the Collector, Gautam Budh Nagar to recover the aforesaid amount vide letter dated 22.05.2025, copy of the same has been appended as Annexure no. 2 to the petition. 2. It is argued that summons were also issued to the employer but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. Since no decision has been taken by the Collector pursuant to the recovery order dated 22.05.2025, hence the petitioner has preferred the present petition. 3. Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent no.2/Collector, Gautam Budh Nagar to comply with the order dated 22.05.2025 expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
