The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "a. To call for the entire records in Case No. A.C.P/C.C.B/E.O.W/Pet/47/2025 from the files of the respondent no.1 police i.e., Assistant Commissioner of Police, (Mr. M.N Nagaraj) C.C.B, E.O.W, Bengaluru. b. Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other writ quashing the complaint dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure-A) filed by Respondent No. 2 against the Petitioner which is under enquiry/investigation before the Respondent No.1 Police, in Case No. ACP/CCB/EOW/Pet/47/2025. c. Pass any such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the present case, in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The short grievance of the petitioner is that the preliminary enquiry in pursuance to the complaint submitted by respondent No.2 has not been completed within a period of 7 days as directed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in the case of Lalitha Kumari v. State of UP and others reported in 2013 14 SCR 713. 3.
