THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED:
CONCILIATION ORDER
A joint memo has been filed on which signature of the petitioner and the respondent have been made, which are duly identified and verified by their respective advocates. In the joint memo, it is submitted that an amount of Rs.87,000/- and Rs.58,000/- have been deposited on 28.02.2023 and 02.02.2024 respectively, totaling Rs.1,45,000/-. It is stated that the parties have agreed to settle the matter for Rs.1,80,000/- as against Rs.2,90,000/-. As such the petitioner has agreed to pay the remaining amount of Rs.35,000/- on or before
25.01.2026. It is mentioned that in case the petitioner/accused fails to pay the said amount of Rs.35,000/- on or before 26.01.2026, the respondent would be at liberty to recover the entire amount of Rs.2,90,000/-. In view of the settlement, the dispute between the parties shall stand resolved on payment of Rs.35,000/- as aforesaid. 3
2. Admittedly, an amount of Rs.2,90,000/- is due of which Rs.1,80,000/- has been agreed to be accepted as full and final settlement provided the remaining amount of Rs.35,000/- is paid on or before 25.01.2026. Therefore, on payment of the amount of Rs.35,000/-, in the manner specified in the joint memo, the offence shall stand compounded.
The amounts deposited before the trial Court, if any, shall be permitted to be withdrawn, as per rules, by the complainant. 3. In view of the aforesaid, the petition stands disposed of. Sd/- JUDGE
