Pushpa, learned counsel, appears for the petitioner and Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel, appears for the respondents. [2] The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying as follows: “(ii) directing the Respondents to fill up the unfilled vacant post left by the authority of the High Court of Manipur with respect to 1 (one) Group -D post (for appointment in the District Courts of Manipur) which is reserved for the category of OBC (M) as the petitioner has been placed at Sl. No. 1 of the wait list candidates of OBC(M) as notified vide notification dated 27/09/2024 (Annexure A/6).” [3] Ms. G. Pushpa, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has made a representation dated 29.01.2025 to the Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Manipur, requesting for issuance of appointment order in favour of the petitioner, namely, Lourembam Rishikanta Singh, whose name appears at Sl. No. 1 of O.B.C. (M) as wait list candidate as per notification dated 27.09.2024 issued by the High Court of Manipur, notifying the selection of candidates with respect to the recruitment examination to Group-D Posts, and the said representation has not been considered by the authority till date. (C) No. 162 of 2025 Page 2 [4] Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, further states that the writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the said representation dated 29.01.2025 and pass appropriate order within a time frame. [5] Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents, fairly states that they do not have any objection for considering the said representation submitted by the petitioner and to pass appropriate order in accordance with law. [6] In view of the above submission made by the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Registrar (Judicial), High Court of Manipur, to consider the said representation dated 29.01.2025 submitted by the petitioner, on its own merit and pass appropriate order as early as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
