For Petitioner : Mr.S.Ilamuhil For Respondents : Mr.P.Siddarth Government Counsel ***** O R D E R The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to issue appropriate instructions to the third respondent to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.342 of 2025 Page Nos.3/5 conclude the enquiry initiated pursuant to the communication dated 24.09.2022 relating to the petitioner’s claim for reimbursement of the expenses incurred by him towards cooking and supplying food to the residents of Koorathangudi Village during the Gaja Cyclone relief operations. 2. The petitioner states that, while serving as the Panchayat Secretary of Koorathangudi Village, he arranged and supplied food to the villagers affected by the Gaja Cyclone in the year 2018 by utilising his own funds. Thereafter, he submitted the relevant bills to the authorities seeking reimbursement of the expenditure incurred. An enquiry was initiated by the third respondent pursuant to the communication dated 24.09.2022 to examine the petitioner’s claim. According to the petitioner, although the enquiry commenced in the year 2022, it has not been concluded till date. 3. The learned State Counsel submitted that the enquiry would be concluded within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. 4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to conclude the enquiry initiated pursuant to the communication dated 24.09.2022 and pass appropriate orders in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.342 of 2025 Page Nos.4/5 accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
