Mr. Harindra Prasad, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits that there be direction upon the Waqf Board to renew the lease on application dated 4th March, 2019 moved by his client's mother and followed through by her brother upon her demise. As such there also be direction of restrain to protect his client from eviction. 2. Mr. Punit Kumar Gupta, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2 (the Waqf Board) and submits, the brother has already filed a reference before the Board. Mr. Raj Mohan Upadhyay, learned advocate Standing Counsel appears on behalf of respondent nos.3 to 5 (the state functionaries). 3. As brother of petitioner has already filed for a reference in respect of renewal of the lease, we direct respondent no.1 to expeditiously deal with it. Petitioner is at liberty to apply for participating in the reference. In the circumstances we do not think it necessary to direct notice on the Mutawalli (respondent no.6).
