ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court for a direction to the respondent to renew his Passport. This Court has called upon Sri Aditya Singh, a learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, to take instructions on the request. Sri Aditya Singh, relying upon the contents of the document filed into the Court along with a Memo, submits that on the petitioner's previous application certain clarifications were called for and that needs to be resolved. The

learned counsel also submits that if the petitioner, for any reason, is not able to produce the original of the Passport, he must otherwise comply with the requirements stipulated and if the petitioner complies with the afore and there is a permission from the Criminal Court which is seized of the pending Criminal proceedings against the petitioner, the petitioner's request for re-issuance of the Passport will be duly considered.
Sri Anirudh A Kulkarni, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner will not only comply with the requirements aforesaid but will also file an application with the concerned Criminal Court, and requests this Court to direct the Criminal Court to expedite consideration of the application.
These submissions narrow down the canvass for consideration, and this petition must be disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to comply with the requirements as aforesaid. Hence, the following:

ORDER
[A] The petition stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to comply with the requirements as aforesaid.
[B] If the petitioner makes an application in the pending Criminal Proceedings against him for permission to travel abroad, the concerned Court must consider the application expeditiously with directions in this regard.
