For Petitioner : Mr.T.Muruganantham for Mr.S.Anil Sandeep For R1 : Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O R D E R This petition has been filed to appoint a Committee/Administrator for the settlement and claim of the depositors concerned in C.C. No. 01/2019 on the file of the Special Court for TNPID Act Cases, Coimbatore. 2. The petitioner is one of the victims in Crime No. 3 of 2016. There are totally 100 victims, who have deposited a sum of Rs. 1,47,86,000/- 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far, no amount has been settled to the victims and no action has been taken to attach the properties. The 1st respondent has filed a status report, which reveals that after the completion of the investigation, final report was filed and the same has been taken cognizance of in C.C. No. 1 of 2019 on the file of the Special Court for TNPID Act cases. Thereafter, property worth about Rs. 41 lakhs was identified and a proposal was sent to the Government. Subsequently, in G.O.Ms.No. 92 of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.19931 of 2023 2024, the said property was attached, and it is pending absolute attachment in O.A.No.14 of 2025. After the attachment is declared absolute, the Competent Authority would take steps to auction the property. So far, the prosecution has examined all the witnesses and the trial is now posted for defence witnesses. At this stage, there is no need to appoint any committee/administrator to settle the amount, as the 1st respondent has already taken steps to make the attachment absolute. 4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
