GP FOR PANCHAYAT RAJ RURAL DEV 2 The Court made the following order:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the following relief/s:- “…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring that the action of the Respondents in not considering the representations of the petitioner dated.03.01.2025, 23.12.2024 and 16.12.2024 in respect of allotment of works of Tribal Welfare School in the Pedda Thurakapalem Gram Panchayat, Narasaraopet Mandal, Palnadu District without following due procedure and not passing any resolution the Gram Panchayat as highly illegal, arbitrary, contrary to the Provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 and violation of the Principles of Natural Justice and violation of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently to refrain from allocating laying of road works of Tribal Welfare School in the Pedda Thurakapalem Gram Panchayat, Narasaraopet Mandal, Palnadu District, and also direct the Respondents to adhere to the statutory framework laid down under the Panchayat Raj Act for allotment of the road laying works of Tribal Welfare School in the Pedda Thurakapalem Village and Narasaraopet Mandal, Palnadu District forthwith and to pass such other order or orders.…” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner made representations dated 03.01.2025, 23.12.2024 and 16.12.2024 to the respondents seeking not to allot the work in favour of any third parties (vendors) without any information to Gram Panchayat. The 3 respondents are not considering the said representations. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed seeking to direct the respondents to dispose of the representations. 4. Since the prayer is solely for a direction to the respondents to address the representations, the present Writ Petition is dispose of, directing the 4th respondent to examine the representations submitted by the petitioner, pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
