By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned advertisement to the extent of invitation of applications form for Hostel Wardens (Contractual), issued by the respondent no. 3, by which the respondent no. 3 has invited the applications for different posts including the hostel wardens, however the petitioner is working on the post of Hostel Warden and as per the appointment letter dated 01-06-2021 issued by respondent no. 2, the petitioner is having the tenure upto 31-03-2024 and be pleased to quash the eligibility of Hostel Warden (Contractual) as ESM only, (Annexure no. 1 to this writ petition), else the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury and the same cannot be compensated by any means. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to complete his tenure as per the appointment letter dated 31-05-2021 issued by respondent no. 2, else the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury and the same cannot be compensated by any means,” 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to subsequent developments, the writ petition has become infructuous. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
