JUSTICE ASHOK S.KINAGI ORAL ORDER The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking for quashing the impugned Official Memorandum dated 18.06.2025 vide Annexure-A passed by the first respondent and direct the official respondent to continue the petitioner in the service, who is presently working as a Office Manager, Urban Development Cell, Deputy Commissioner Office, Chikkamagaluru District. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner filed a memo stating that the petitioner was working as a Office Manager, Urban Development Cell, Deputy Commissioner Office, Chikkamagaluru District by order dated 18.06.2025, displaced the petitioner without posting. The petitioner, aggrieved by the order dated 18.06.2015, filed this instant petition. It is contented that at the intervention of the Hon'ble Court, the petitioner continued in the same place. In view of the medical complications faced by the petitioner, she was not in a position to - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:45116 WP No. 18116 of 2025 discharge her duties, hence she submitted a voluntary retirement to the Respondent Department on 02.06.2025. The same was accepted by the Respondent Department vide order dated 11.09.2025. The petitioner was relieved from the said post on 30.09.2025. 3. Hence, in view of the above said facts, the writ petition does not survive for consideration. The memo is placed on record. In view of the subsequent development that the petitioner had opted for VRS and the same was accepted by the Respondent Department vide order dated 11.09.2025, the writ petition does not survive for consideration. The respondent has furnished the order dated 11.09.2025. The same is taken on record. 4. In view of the above discussion, the writ petition has become infructuous.
