Heard the parties
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 10 of 2025 arising out of Sonaraithari P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238, 3(5) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-I, Deoghar.
3. On 16.08.2024, three children belonging to the family of the informant went missing. Later on, dead bodies of the children were recovered from a pond. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner and 14 other persons that due to previous dispute, they might have committed their murder.
4. Mr. R.S. Mazumdar, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court.
5. Mr. Lalit Yadav, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned District and Additional Sessions Judge-I, Deoghar, in connection with S.T. Case No. 10 of 2025 arising out of Sonaraithari P.S. Case No. 73 of
2024.
