PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following order: This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners herein under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to release the vehicles bearing Registration No.TS 08 JV 9390 and TS 08 JX 3222 involved in Crime No.150 of 2024 on the file of Bathalapalli Police Station, Sri Sathya Sai District. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice on behalf of the Respondent/State. 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the only request of the petitioner is to direct the learned Magistrate to consider the petitioners’ applications vide CF Nos.3162 and 3163 of 2024 filed for interim custody of the vehicles and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible. 4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion that the Criminal Petition can be disposed of at the stage of admission, without going into the merits with a direction to the learned Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Dharmavaram to consider the petitioners’ applications vide CF Nos.3162 and 3163 of 2024 filed for interim custody of the vehicles and dispose of the same, as per law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel thereto, the interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
