1. Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 07.08.2024 whereby the claim of the petitioner for grant of dearness allowance has been denied.
2. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with regard to the grievance, the petitioner(s) has already served a legal notice dated 11.12.2023 (Annexure P-6) but the respondents have not taken any action thereupon till date. He contends that the petitioner would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent No.2-Director, Women & Child Development Department, Haryana is directed to consider and decide the above said legal notice, by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with the consent of the parties and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, by directing respondent No.2-Director, Women & Child Development Department, Haryana to consider and decide the legal notice dated 11.12.2023 (Annexure P-6) by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four months of the receipt of certified copy of this order.
