The present petition seeks to challenge the rejection of the application of the petitioner for issuance of income certificate, as shown on the website. The reason assigned in the rejection is that the petitioner's father is a pensioner. It is contended that the petitioner has been abandoned by her father and she is living on her own. Accordingly, a direction is sought for consideration of her application afresh. The copy of the application, which has been appended to the writ petition, marked as Annexure-3, does not bear proper particulars under the head of 'Source of Income'. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would submit a proper application for issuance of income certificate before the authority concerned and seek her remedy.
