Mr. Suman Sengupta, Sr. Govt. Adv. Mr. Sanatan Panja …for the State. Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the Ghatal Police Station on 03.12.2024, no steps have been taken by the concerned police station. Additionally, it has been contended that the private respondents are disturbing the peaceful possession so far as the residential house is concerned. Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that since the dispute was amongst the acquaintances/relations, police authorities have restrained themselves and only drawn up proceedings under section 126 BNSS. In view of the information furnished with the police authorities are on 03.12.2024, I direct the petitioner that if similar inconveniences are faced by 2 the petitioner, a fresh representation be made to the Inspector-in-Charge/Officer-in-Charge of Ghatal Police Station who would assess and ascertain the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter act in accordance with law. With the aforesaid observations WPA 2407 of 2025 is disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
